Its the longest day of the year in the southern hemisphere, a day which imperceptibly represents the pinnacle. On the other side of the world, the day is at its shortest, and in the darkness of winter, the deepest point has been reached. Soon both will begin to change, and day length will be traded. Equal and opposite. As we are of the earth, we are like the earth. The fluctuations between the two poles of human experience, and every gradiation in between is a feature of a human experience. Remember that like the earth, we rarely stay in one place for too long. Rejoice when it's time, and mourn when it's time. This too shall pass.
